Do i need to setup the cube in a specific way so that the slice turns are smooth
@MaxSiauwCubing

They don't have to be smooth necessarily, just whatever works for you. If you're curious about my set up its a Mystic set up (dnm, Traxxas 10k, mystic)

Help! I wanted to improve yesterday and remembered a sub 20 tip I don't follow "Don't look at the current thing you are doing" It made me go from 19 seconds to 17 seconds on average I got a PB of 10 and many 11s 12s 14 15s and one 13 the next day After looking at a look ahead vid I forgot where to look when doing 8t and My look ahead deteriorated what should I do? Was it a fluke because I did get a lot of those solves with the OLL's I know and rarely any OLL's I didn't know also I was turning on my normal speed

Hey! I would say definitely go back to that advice of "don't look at the current thing you're doing." It's fundamental to look-ahead, because by *not* looking at what you're currently solving, that gives you the opportunity to look for other F2L pairs/what to solve next, thus eliminating your pauses. Hope this helps!

@@MaxSiauwCubing thanks the difference yesterday and today was, I was turning at normal speed but after watching lookahead I was turning slower so I speed up to normal while watching other pieces I got to sub 19 again I guess the streak was just of Knowing the Oll alg for those solves , I do 2 look oll but I know some OLL's and if I get them it's usually a good solve and I know full pll If I do 1 oll per 3 days I bet I could get full oll with consistent practice on almost each of them With this I could probably get sub 14 without needing Planning to first pair but it'll need consistent and mediocre speed algs

just finished learning 3 style corners and now onto edges, any tips?

Definitely learn from a spreadsheet if you're not already. The most important thing is to actually have an intuitive understanding of the edge comms so that learning them is not just pure rote memorization. Use Elliott Kobelansky's buffer trainer too!
