What I didn’t capture on video is how tough it is to rotate the carb back into place. You have to force it back over the case bolt.

I was really surprised how hard the boot plastic was on my 22 as well. I'm used to boot having some give in order to get carbs in and out.

@@roostafish961 If you don't mind I would like to know the shimstacks, maybe in the future video or in direct message?

Put a smart carb on it and then it's easy to adjust.

I was talked into a Lectron on my KTM 150. It worked fine, but it what was advertised. It seems like there are two camps as well. Smart Carb or Lectron, and it’s quite polarized. I’d like to try a Smart Carb for myself and see.

I just deep dived research on that Smart Carb. Might be worth a try. I can say I’ve had a Lectron and it wasn’t worth it.

I put one on my buddies 2009 ktm 300xcw that I went through and it has been a great carb. He had a nicely jetted airstriker on the bike that ran great for years. We didn't think we would get much performance but possibly gain fuel mileage, but we got both. If you get one read the manual and follow the guide or you will create problems for yourself.

Did you adjust your float at 16mm?

I’ll be honest, I simply moved it a bit and put it back together, then topped the Bike on its side to see how far over it would take before fuel came out. Not scientific. May have gone too far, we will see.
