After catching the southbound BNSF intermodal, we returned back to 26th Street to continue waiting on NS 320. Thankfully, we didn't have to wait too long on him, as he came through less than 15 minutes later with an SD70ACe leading an ET44AC on the head-end and an ES44DC working as the mid-train DPU! Certainly a nice lash-up to end the day off on.
This crossing is another pretty decent one. The signals here are a pretty standard late-2000s NS install, though the original Safetran Type 3 on the far side must've died at some point and was replaced sometime after 2014 with a newer Safetran Type 3. No other major changes appear to have occured to this crossing. If you look closely at the far signal, you may notice that the gate lights over there were mis-wired as well.
This is the first crossing south of the diamond with the BNSF Birmingham Sub in Jasper. You can also hear part of the NS MP 86.6 detector's read-out after the train passes, with that detector being located just north of this crossing, but before the diamond.
