Stunning...could you make notes on the colours used, kind of acrylic/paint, the 'way' and colours you poured in the cup (why certain colours to the side vs into the middle...is especial interest)....to get the 'wing's'?? A bit more instruction for purely 'beginners' would be so helpful. Thanks
@KristinOSteen
5 жыл бұрын
Hello Brenda and Thank you! I was making this trying to explaint it, but I might do another one one day. Use the colors that YOU like. The most important things in this pour is to make sure all the colors has the same thickness. And don’t mix them too thin. Also make sure to have more of the color that you want for the middle Line, as your can always stop pouring it. Your surface needs to be tight. Also you need space left to stretch it After you poured, so don’t use too much. And no wet base, as the ” wings” will spread to it and you loose the lines. I hope this will help some. Oh yes, and you need to pour from the middle of the pouring cup, so that equal amount of the paints comes on both sides.

Hi Kristin . I would like to say your work is amazing I’m so new at this & your art is something I would love to try. The questions I have are, can you do it on a canvas & could you say the colours just so I know for sure lol I make so many mistakes on colours. I thank you for share so much . 👍😊

Thank you Nina. The colors are dark Brown, white, black and a yellow/Brown. Cant really remember but you`ll figure it out. You can do it on canvas as well, but it just need to be really tight stretched to make it easier. Good luck! 😃

Destruction part? No such thing. It is what it is and it's beautiful, because it is.

Hello and Thank you! My mix is rather thick so it gets layered in the cup and dont blend. To be able to achieve that you will need the Colors to be of the same consistence. Also, do it slow and I’m sure you’ll get There!

I wonder, beside pouring acrylics, is it possible to pour OIL ??? The final result may be very different, given the shiny nature of oil paint. Has anyone tried oil pouring?

Hello! To me that sounds possible. How would you make the paint flow.. and how to acchieve the effects of the pour.. would be really interesting to hear if anyone ever tried that😃
