We are in the era of plastic dipstick handles. Plastic breaks after so many heat cycles and so much stress. Here is 3ways how-to get the rest of a dipstick out of the tube.
If you don't have an air compressor, you can use this → amzn.to/2JSVdNv
The key to blowing it out is to create a good seal at the valve cover around the nozzle.
1. Pressurize the crankcase with compressed air in spurts. (higher risk and most efficient)
2. Hook it out with welding wire. (not always possible, but possibly faster)
3. Unbolt the dipstick tube and remove the dipstick from the bottom. (safest method, but very time consuming)
