I was intrigued by McMaster's so-called "Easy To Machine 316 Stainless" (aka: Project 70+), so I ordered a sample of it and the regular stuff to compare. The point of this is not to tell someone in industry what material is better, but to help inform people using old manual equipment in their home shop. Is there a noticeable difference? I try to figure it out.
