--Here, is my time lapse rig for the Creality CR6-se. (bEaTbOx)
((((cutscene dank timelaps))))))
--It houses a standard bluetooth-connected shutter button that I think i got for free with my most recent Joby tripod. You can also buy these little buttons on Amazon for really cheap and I THINK that most of these have the same design and should be able to work with this rig… The only drawback to this set-up is the fact that these remotes are powered by a little CR2032 battery. Mine hasn't died yet so i can't tell you how long they will last - BUT, lucky for me i just bought a 6-pack of these a few months ago on amazon for about five dollars. (i bought them for my calipers (which If you dont have a pair of these yet… you definitely some))
(((((caliper shot))))))
--The thing im most proud of out of this whole build is the way that this attaches to the 3d printer. I was sitting there contemplating different screw configurations and was actually about to use my hot glue gun when i picked up a guitar pick and wedged it right into the little gap between the mount creating a snug and secure fit!
With just this guitar pick! i can instantly remove and secure my shutter button! AMAZING.
Thats the kind of under-engineering i can get behind.
--And now it's time for the part that none of us really wanted to talk about. That's right, the G code.
--You're going to want to use the “search and replace” tool in cura to add this piece of G-code during your “post processing”. The only problem is that THIS piece of code is either not great.. or i need to change my retraction settings.. Ive just been too lazy to find out.
--Im sure this is going to be a relatively easy fix though and im excited to make some more videos.
--I am making this file free to download (at least for now) so be sure to go and grab it. Links are in the description. Ive got lots of other stuff coming so Be sure to subscribe click the Bell like the video go to my KZitem channel watch videos check out my hitchhiking playlist check out my sailing playlistthanks for watching.
