At least three people were shot Tuesday afternoon near Armature Works in Tampa's Heights District, according to Tampa Police Chief Lee Bercaw.
No arrests have been made at this time, and police are looking for the person or people responsible.
The shooting happened just after 4 p.m. on the 1900 block of N. Ola Avenue.
Bercaw said it started as a disturbance between two groups and was not a targeted attack. He added that the three people shot were innocent bystanders.
10 Tampa Bay's nearby weather camera captured some of the scene as it unfolded.
One person appeared to be hurt and was receiving medical attention before first responders arrived. Other people were seen running away for safety. Once on scene, Tampa Fire Rescue treated those who were hurt, but the extent of their injuries is unknown at this time.
Police confirmed that one person was shot in the arm, while a witness, who only wished to go by Val, described a woman getting shot in the leg.
"We just didn't know what to do until we heard more gunshots and then some security came over and then he told us to run. So, we ran toward the restaurant, toward the other side," Val described.
Val explained that the shooting happened "out of nowhere" while she was in a work meeting at Stones Throw, which is a restaurant that's part of Armature Works. Before she knew it, she was trying to help the woman she said was shot in the leg and her baby.
"Everything happened so fast," she said. "I didn't know where the gunshots were coming from. I don't even know how she got hurt. I mean, she was right next to us. So, it was just very quick."
The scene has since been taped off by law enforcement. Officers are trying to determine if anyone else was hurt and said that this was "NOT an active shooter situation."
