Fantastic job Maverick! 🙂👍 The finished product looks great! You hit the nail on the head, it's all a matter of *trial and error.* Glad you could get the lift installed and back on the road. Take care, be safe and happy wrenching 🔧🔩

Why would it be funny, sorry truly funny? It looks good with oem wheels. Tires aren't huhe either, so it does not throw it off, just looks like it came from factory. Everything you said makes absolutely no sense what so ever, stick to the Fortnite and Powerpuff girls.

Great video, thank you sir. Been looking for this. I have a '94 sport 5-speed ruby red metallic. It needs paint,sides are nice,but hood and roof are oxidized. 4" lift is exactly what I want. I want to use Fox shocks for that Raptor look,but they don't make them for '94. Maybe I can measure some from another kit that will fit. Maybe Duff kit. More probably Rough Country. Ok let me finish watching video to see what you went with.
@mavsfabshop

Duff is going to be your best kit. As far as shocks, I went with Skyjacker hydro 2000s iirc

@@mavsfabshop thanks that's the setup I'll use. Duff and skyjackers. Is it skyjackers also in the rear? I also loved your video cleaning your rust off underneath. One of these days I will jack it up and clean underneath and undercoat. I love my explorer. The sheet metal is so heavy duty. Reminds me of my brothers '72 scout. Except his truck has a big 392 V8. @mavsfabshop

I used a 4" kit for the front that I bought used. Your 99 will have IFS front suspension, so you'll most likely have to look online for lift for yours

how were the front brake lines? Im getting my explorer lifted soon, wondering if itll stretch the lines
@mavsfabshop

You'll need extended brake hoses for the front, on the rear you can get by with the factory hose if you do the spring over axle conversion

I didn't drop the rear driveshaft out, if you watch, you'll see that I took the springs out and put them on top of the axle with my new perch, and welded the perch on top of the axle
