I moved a yellow top optima in the front of a build, and some other smaller amounts of weight. Just to help the front end get a little bigger bite. All of the engine weight and your body weight are way back of center line. But I'm sure you will conquer that hill no problem. It looks very nice!

I fuigured you might have a plan for it. Sadly, about another 1' of rear stretch would be nice on that steep of a incline.

it would a small part of me wishes i did another 1.5" of stretch but then again i didnt make it for hill climbing it just happens to be better at it than any of my other bikes

I'm trying to find someone that makes a gr that isn't outrageously priced and was looking to see if there was any smaller than a 54 I've noticed you make them. And another question the plastic gas tanks you can get online any decent for these? Mines still rust free just dont know how long it will b

If you wanna get some flex out of it try getting some new shocks like stock Honda 450r shocks
@TheHondaOutlaw

It has over 18" that's beyond plenty
@igotthatdrip1419

TheHondaOutlaw wow that’s a lot but would you be able to flex a lot easy since 450r shocks are softer and what kind of shocks are you running rn
@TheHondaOutlaw
5 жыл бұрын
300ex fronts they are already much softer than a 450r as is

You need your shocks on the axle and longer ones
@TheHondaOutlaw

Na works excellent like this 18+" of flex is plenty

TheHondaOutlaw what flex I didn’t see any of you had better shock placement you would have flexed and not tipped
@TheHondaOutlaw
5 жыл бұрын
I tipped because i dont have rear spacers built to make up the fact that my rear is 8" narrower than the front and i was on a steep hill anyway. If i put the shocks closer to the axle it would take a lot more effort to make them move then where i have them now and i would guarantee flip every time because it wouldn't move almost any. Believe me when i say it has plenty of flex just actually needs finished.

Actually better than arguing with you. How about instead you build your own 100% on your own and when its done let me know and then you can actually tell me whats better on it than mine.
