Married an Icelander. Only thing that sucks is if you live there on your own, it can get very "blue" and depressing. Married into a big family is what makes Iceland a happy place to be.

Does Iceland have an unwritten upper age limit for people who want to move there? I ask because the few sites I've found for apartment rentals frequently specify an upper age limit, for example, 50.

I would have added the northern lights to my list. But I liked your list. You can say that love played a major part.💕 We need a good romcom with that plot. I'd watch it. Wait, you can also go whale watching. I can't think of the place that they said you can see a lot of whales at though.🤔

Húsavík is a great place for whale watching
@EmorettaRobinson

@@AllThingsIceland thank you for providing the name of the place for me. I couldn't think of it for nothing yesterday. I think it would be so cool and relaxing to go whale watching. When I lived in Florida I used to enjoy seeing dolphins swim. To the best of my knowledge we had no whales that got close enough to the coast to watch. We had sharks though. As a little girl I was told never to go past the orange buoys because that was where the sharks are. By the number of shark attacks I've heard about I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that the mama sharks told their kids to go in past the orange buoys because that's where the humans are at.😉 But I was serious about the romantic comedy thing. Your story would make a good movie. We in the states don't have enough interracial romance movies. And we've got nothing about someone falling in love with someone from Iceland. I'm willing to bet a lot of us don't know where Iceland is located at on the globe. I don't know if you know who MsRoshPosh is on KZitem? She's from Jamaica and moved to Canada as a teen or pre-teen. She is incredibly talented at applying makeup and slays every wig install that she does. Her mother married an Icelandic man as well. So I really think there is plenty of inspiration to draw from for a movie like that. Well in my opinion there is.😊
