This is weird, I missed this video, the other day while looking for beef at the store I saw Lamb shoulder chops on sale. I cooked them on the grill, they were so fatty that i turned them up sideways to caramelize the fat around the edges, it was delicious, I had never eaten lamb before, now a day later you tube suggests this video. A lot of women do get enough red meat. And usually eat the processed kind that is full of salt and bad fats. This is a problem for women because we lose a lot of red blood cells during menstruation and it all adds up. Red meat is the most nutrient dense food because its highest on the food chain of what humans are capable of digesting it’s just we’re taught to believe red meat is dangerous just because it’s hard for our bodies to process and digest cause of all the amino acids and its high calorie and high protein amount. I know I was vegetarian once and I lost so much weight and was always tired and depressed because I was malnourished and the nutrients you get in red meat, you will have to eat in massive amount of portions of plant based alternatives to get the same amount of DV which costs more money. Humans basically evolved from eating meat and our Brains function by eating meat.

Lamb and goat are probably the only meats I can't stomach. I've cooked them myself and had them chef prepped and I can't stand the taste or smell. I eat every seafood, organ meats, literally any other meats (ostrich is my favorite so far) Do you think there's a chance a person's lineage can affect what their body is ok with consuming? I know we had both animals on farms until a few generations ago and they were only used for whool and milk never food, it's my only theory for why I find even the smell of it cooking so revolting when my husband loves it

@Gravity Denier maybe. My only thing is I've tried a lot of new meats that I didn't grow up on and enjoy most of them. Bison, elk, ostrich, snails, frog, wild boar, and too many fish to name. While there have been a couple I didn't particularly enjoy, none of them revolted me like lamb and goat
