Summary Step 1: Stop/ reduce consuming cheap dopamine ( drugs, porn, junk food, binging). Step 2: Socialise more friends/ family , stop Sigma Coping . Step 3: stop seeking instant gratification, anything of value comes from hard work. Step 4: Get rid of your victim mentality. You are where you are right now for a reason, your next step forward is what matters.

I’m surprised he didn’t mention video games as cheap dopamine. A lot of KZitemrs and podcast people are highly against it and call you a bum & a loser for playing them. Imo, as long as you don’t make it a priority and it doesn’t become an unhealthy addiction! Then you’re straight.

3:44 As someone who is religious and tries to reserve Sunday as a day of rest from normal life things from the week, I definitely agree that I feel better and more able to put aside my forms of “cheaper dopamine” when I don’t spend time doing/thinking about them whatsoever on that one day of the week than whenever I do let myself indulge even on my designated day of rest. That rang true!

I agree with everything said, but i always think about how an addiction to getting more money is also a bad vice. This is not really talked about, but i feel like people who always want more money and want to be rich just to be rich are never happy. Sometimes, true happiness comes from accepting what you have and being fine with that. Ofcourse money is incredibly important, but you have to look beyond that materialistic view once in a while

The only thing i have an issue with is the second thing " the alpha mentality ". Being a man asking for help or needing help especially from a women isnt the way to go...ive faced this head on and it will eventually turn u extremely cold and put u in a very negative state of mind. Women tend to be very negative and belittle a man if he is in need of help especially if the women thinks she is sacrificing her own well being. I encourage all man to not make mistakes at least not big ones cuz the world itself doesnt care of ur down bad.

I can't do 15 pull ups and it doesn't make me weak. What's weak is putting a number on an exercise that many may not feel is important. There's plenty of exercises that can be done that's just as beneficial as doing some damn pull ups.

You’re lonely because you have a social media addiction. You’re addicted to validation and probably the money. Why else you doing this for? You know what else is lonely? Realizing that you’re doing all this work to be friends with people who aren’t really your friends. They just want to be associated with your status or resources.

i believe porn is the worst of them all. mentally wise. it makes you nervous around women specifically attractive ones. most people that watch porn can’t get the women they want. and talk to them like a normal human being instead of pedestalizing them
