OMG! Thank you! I love farmer's markets, I used to go to several in our area before I got MS and can no longer drive but when family members ask me where I want to go, I say the farmer's market or Tractor supply LOL! Farmer's markets are wheelchair accessible when lots of other outdoor venues are not.

Holy cow, Morgan, looks like people would much rather just get bent out of shape than have a healthy discussion. Apparently you don't get to voice your personal opinions on your personal KZitem channel... "Shut up and farm"...??? I don't think my eyes can roll much harder than they did when I read that. Oh, and I love farmer's markets! We have a great big one in downtown Dallas, and several smaller ones that rotate around the metroplex.

Morgan, it's a mistake to bring anything political or religious into the conversation,,,,, this starts people making negative comments and calling other people names who don't agree.,,,immature people can't handle it properly.

There is a farmer's market near me where the lady has an orchard and can tell you what kind of cherry is best for what-canning, cherry limeades (Montmorency) preserves, pies, she also has 3 kinds of peaches, at least that many plums, and raspberries. One time I got a 2 lb pear from a farmer that took me 15 minutes of pure bliss to eat. Also, one guy grew wax beans one year which I had forgotten that I love more than green beans. Another gentleman had whole peat cups full of different mini heirloom tomatoes. I bought 4 cups and every day for 4 days I had a healthy snack in my car's cupholder. Every tomato had a different surprising taste that was much more flavorful than any store bought tomato. Also, I have gotten the best ever small batch brats from a farm out west that totally made me love brats with flavors like: Apple & Chedder, Jalapeno & Bacon, mmmmmm. Another cool thing that was touched on here is they can tell you what is going to ripen when so you can plan your homemade salsa adventures accordingly. It is best to eat in season when you can!

I've watched you on Roots and Refuge so I thought I'd swing on over an give your vlogs a watch. So far I love how you get straight to the point lol (ei. The Donald Trump comment). And I fully support our local farmers markets but with Covid it's been tricky. We can still purchase on line from vendors and drive through to pick up our items. However, I am missing the personal connection and sense of community. Maybe one day we'll be back to normal.

I'm here July 2020. I feel like I've tardised back in time and I know the future! Just spent the last 3 hours working in the garden, she was a hot one! 38°C! ~100°F. I'm a full-time RN in a general hospital in Canada, my gardens are my hobby and the polar opposite of my job. Farmers Markets are tremendous! I grow a fair bit but I didn't have space to grow everything, so FM provide what I don't grow. I lost a huge old tree last month, wicked downburst, friggin' apocalyptic! The silver lining is I can now expand my veg garden next year! ~44'×176' Urban lot and that big old tree cast a huge shadow. Sun everywhere, all day long now! Since CV19 good food is much more expensive. Anything trucked in is $$$$$$. FM are the best deal in town right now.

I love growing my own veg. And started quite a white back growing fruit trees from seeds. Last year I got my first pomegranate from one I grew from seeds.. the taste was fantastic. Next year hopefully I should be getting my first lemons limes and maybe apples and pears from my own yard. From what I started myself and I grow all organic. Farmers markets are important and help the local growers. I wish as a disabled person I could afford my own small homestead but financially it's not in the cards for me. But I grow as much as I can. Anyone can grow herbs and food even on a balcony or small space..

What I don’t understand about my New Orleans farmers market (Crescent City Markets) is that the vendors get to cut out the middle man but they charge MORE than high end markets. I don’t mind if they pocket the money that they save by skipping the middleman. What I can’t understand is why they charge so much more than markets who do have a middleman.

Thank you for taking the time to make these videos, it is nice to share experiences and information. I will not be giving this video the thumbs up nor down, I just can't support the Lord's name being used in vain, and I can not support our President being disrespected in such an ugly way.
