41 S. Grand Ave. in Fairborn Ohio was moved from Linden St. in old Osborn Ohio in 1922 due to the Miami Conservancy District's plans for flood protection after the 1913 flood. The Osborn Removal company was formed by the townspeople to move nearly 200 homes and out buildings a little bit southeast next to Fairfield Ohio. In 1950, the two towns of Osborn and Fairfield merged to become Fairborn. This little video was made entirely using my late father's pictures...I sure miss him!
