The year is 2000 and 4472 comes to Newcastle, crossing the King Edward VII bridge into Central Station. Next she is serviced at disused Gateshead Greenesfield shed - now a housing estate. This sequence affords a nice long look at the old sheds and is in many ways as much a clip about them as Scotsman. By the sounds of things 4472 was ailing that day, her exhaust seeming very strange and disjointed. If anyone out there can elaborate on this I'd be very interested to know what was up.
Transferred from old Hi8 tape.
