Sounds good BUT on my 1950 8A that's where the vacuum line for the distributor SO what about that. AND this off the subject but do you or any of your viewers know the correct engine color for the 1950 V8 8A engine? Thanks!

Thanks so much for posting this. If the vacuum port on the manifold is already used for the wiper, do you see any issue sharing the port for both purposes?

Thanks Mal, I have never tried it. I think the PCV would work the same when the wiper motor is off. I don't know if the wiper motor would have enough vacuum to work correctly, the vacuum may take the easiest route, which I think would be the PCV. Pretty cheap to try it out though.

With a pcv, is the breather still open ? So is the carburation not to lean ?

Hi Harold, yes the breather in the front of the intake manifold allows air to enter the crankcase. Carburation is adjusted the same as you normally would.

whats the reason for it

Hi Lawrence, the stock setup is just a tube routing block gasses/smoke and oil out to the bottom of the engine bay. With the PCV setup the gasses/smoke and oil go back into the intake and get burned up, plus the vacuum from the intake help slow/stop oil leaks.
