Just some tiny facts The temple has an extensive history as the sacred ground of Kumano worship and was a large-scale training hall centered around Nachi Falls for Shugendo, a syncretic religion fusing Shintoism and Buddhism.

Impressive walk, watching once isn't definitely enough💖! The harmony of the nature (falls, forest, sakura🌸, birds singing...) and man-made elements (shrines⛩, stairways...) is fascinating 🥰, feels like breathing in the enchanting peaceful atmosphere of the area 💦🌲🤗 ! Would be great to walk there in reality one day 💝 !!

My wife and I visited Nachi Falls when we toured Kii Peninsular. What a beautiful area. Our favourite places were Koyasan with all the temples and the onsen town of Ryujin set in a beautiful valley amongst the mountains. We bathed naked overlooking a cold river rushing through the valley. Magic. In Koyasan we stayed at the Kodai-in Temple and were the only foreigners to have stayed there, in fact at the time of our stay we were the only guests so the monk gave us three adjoining tatami rooms, what luxury! I hope one day you can do a walking tour of Koyasan.

Towards the end of the video….so much effort put into water management. Fascinating to see all the rills along the side of the road. Is there big rains and big snow melt here? Some houses are so low down and others up high. Very interesting!

I am having this question for a couple year already, why you hate stairs? You always seams so eager to get out of the stairs fast, and i am havin micro heart atacks because intrusive toughts keeps saying that you are gonna fall. But still all this time watching i only remember you tripping (and not falling) one time
