I literally just ran across your KZitem by accident. It's funny that you say I must be a new crocheter. Truth be told, I have been yarning since I was 5 years old - we won't talk about how many years that is😊. But I wanted to reach out to say that you showed me things I didn't know! We -newbies and vets- can all learn new things and share with each other. I love going back to basics and creating what looks complicated when in fact it's a beginner stitch. I love crocheting. Probably because my grandmother taught me, and she's passed. When I crochet, I feel closer to her. Anyway, didn't mean to write a novel...lol ... I just wanted you to know that your sharing of your craft benefits us ALL! So glad I found you. I'm "HOOKED"!😊

I just started crocheting literally yesterday lol I’ve been a knitter for years so these are super helpful. My only feedback is, you’re a fast talker just like me 😂. Since this video is targeted for beginners, I would suggest that you slow down a tad while explaining how you’re working your stitches and slowing down the visual of you working your double and single stitches. Since, some of us just started, we might have trouble deciphering the stitches. Other than that, I really LOVE your channel and these stitches! ♥️♥️♥️

Hi I know this is over and done with but as a complete beginner and a visual learner if you could slow down when showing how to do the stitches that would be awesome, even if it's just one stitch you do slow so I can Rewind on that stitch as much as I need to learn it. It's easiest for me to literally follow along with you movement for movement and I'm left handed so it's a little different for me. If you can't I totally understand I can just slow the video down but the slow motion sound is a little... Jarring? I'm not sure just a little suggestion. Thank you so much for the tutorial though I'm learning and I'm at the very beginning so your videos are very helpful! I appreciate the time you take to do your videos.

Toni, I love your videos and I am so glad I happened upon your channel! I have been crocheting since I was 12 (retired now) and I’m very good; but Toni, You r the Queen of crochet-I SALUTE YOU, MY SISTER! A request please-when u are giving hook sizes, would you please give them in their US letter or number size as well! Whenever u give a hook size in mm, I have to Google the US size or rummage through my hooks stash and hunt for the relevant hook! For contemporary crocheters it’s probably second nature for them to convert so u may feel that giving both sizes is unnecessary but if u could, I would greatly appreciate it! Also, Toni, I want to thank you for contemporizing my crochet life and the life of another retiree to whom I introduced ur channel!! Ty!

I am not a new crocheter but I love the patterns you come up with, the way you do them and the way you explain things so well, I just wanted to check out your latest work. I'm so glad you have sponsors. 🤩 I really like that Linen stitch. I've never seen it before and it looks like a good stitch for a sweater. Does it stretch much? And I love the way you do the Alpine stitch. Most tutorials use a "long DC" which means pulling the yarn longer-- I've tried that but I'm not very good with loose stitches. This looks more promising, though I can see myself forgetting to go back and forth between the TC and DC. LOL! But that also looks like a good sweater pattern. Does that stretch? (By "stretch" I mean elongate as it wears. I'm trying to avoid stitches like that for a sweater. With my first attempt at a sweater I used a simple DC and what started out going to mid-thigh I ended up tripping over-- LOL!) I also love the way you alternate your nail polish. Interesting. 😉 BTW, have you ever done anything with the Wiggly stitch? I want to make an afghan with it. It starts with a filet-crochet type foundation, then you go back and work DC or HDC or SC over it. Mostly, I'm looking for a nice pattern that's not a picture or stripes. That's all anyone ever seems to do with it. I keep trying to think of something more interesting... any ideas?
