The Pickey Picks are great. I have used them for 30 years.

yes, Blue Chip thumb pick is great. The finger picks are nice but it's more a matter of trying whatever you like, but the thumb pick is #1

I already laughed out loud before you realized you inserted the picks the other way round. Quickly, I remembered one of the Carter sisters doing the reverse strumming. I'm a beginner. So I really appreciate your videos. Thanks

Drill a 3/16 " hole in your thumb pick a little left of center of the bottom of the pick and your thumb , also put a little bit of Finger Ease spray n a rag or Q- tip an apply it to just the part of the the thumb pick and finger picks that touches the strings . I don't spray it on my strings at all. Your pick will stay on and glide over the strings and cut string noise all most totaly out . I use a Golden Gate heavy large thumb pick and Dunlop brass .025 finger picks . Thanks

Hey, I love videos. I too use Ernie Balll finger picks. They are all I have ever used. Every time I try something different, I’m just not happy. However, lately I’ve noticed more buzz/scratchy sound coming from my finger picks. I’m wondering if that could be a sign that my picks are worn out. How do you know when metal picks are worn out? Is it a visible wearing down or just a sound? Thanks.

Had a hard time coming off the money for Blue chip. Now I would never use anything else. First got the regular one, but the tip was too long and he traded me for the JD Crowe pick, no hassle. I use an Acri pick on my middle finger and a Sammy Shelor pick with the wider band on my index finger. I have always had problems with the picks coming off and the wider band helps, but using an Acri pick on my index finger felt too cumbersome, so I went with the SS pick there. Thank for the video.

The buzz is caused by the pick hitting the string on its side, not the tip. I bend my finger picks to hit the tip on the string.
