Just another method idea. I use a very small shop vac which is portable. I think it ran me $50 for this and I dedicate it for this and a few other things where the unit doesn't really get gross and is clean and easy to bring in the house. The only thing I do different which may be more work is that I will take it actually the pad off the bed and I will hang it over the top of the bathroom door over the ceramic tile I will put that drain attachment on while the shop vac is on and over the port and suction out the port and let gravity pull it all down. If there is any leakage, it's on the tile floor and is easily suctioned up with the shop vac. I also use it to suction out the water on the doc pro. No bowls, no zip ties, no pole, etc. But it does require taking the pad off and putting it back on. So not sure if this is speedier and cleaner, but just another way of doing it.

I contacted the company about making an actual remote for the dock pro. I think it was a poor oversight that they made it dependant on a smart phone because my wife and I turn phones on airplane mode at night and wifi off. We like a lower emf environment when we sleep. It's inconvenient to adjust temp manually in th he middle of the night by rolling out of bed to look at the screen. They need a remote

Thank you for the video! I just bought the system today, and when I read that it requires to drain water out of it every month I got panicked because I have no idea how to do that and I couldn’t find any instructions. Luckily, I found your video so in two months I know what to do! How do you wash the pad itself? Is it in the washing machine?
@TodayIWorkOn

Actually, you can drain it every 6 months. You have to install the detergent every 2 months. Buy a tray for the unit just in case it fails, because it will leak all under the bed. I have a one year update video incoming to go over how the system has performed for us.

I received my Dock Pro in September 2022. It was working fine until a few weeks ago. I like to sleep cool. I turn on the unit about an hour before bed. While I have it set to 60ºF, it no longer gets that cool; And, after I get into bed, the temperature never adjusts back down. I wake up at 80º. I've maintained the unit monthly and at the 6 month mark. Now Sleep Me seems to be out of business. I'm open to suggestions....Any ideas would be appreciated.

The mystery of sleepme going out of business is frustrating. I have not reached out to the company because I never get a straight answer from them. My last communication was replacing my dock pro on my side and I had to pay shipping. That didn’t give me confidence about their current situation. 😞

Set up a sleep plan and it should calm it down. For some weird reason if you don't have the sleep plan, that's what happens. I don't know why. @Today I Work On , I already contacted support to get that solved for V3 hopefully concerning a gallon per unit a month of distilled water, that's just absolutely insane, are the 2liters you need to fill up both the matress and unit per unit/matress side included in this calculation?, they ought to figure out a fix for that for sure , should not be happening!, should have to top it up once a year and done, also they should include UV lights like the Ooler has for disinfection so no need for deep cleaning as well

On the maintenance, like I said on the video, it’s every 6 months. The cleaning packets we do every 2 months. The instructions say 1-3 months. Those little packets are very expensive!
@qnge6tyioo209
Жыл бұрын
@@TodayIWorkOn first off, yep I agree I also told support that it's insane, 12 packets cleaner cost 70 dollars that's without shipping, I've heard hydrogen peroxide works as good 1/2 cup aka 4oz. As used to be suggested by chilisleep, instead of the cleaner, that's before they had theyre cleaner up for sale, also not sure I'f you understood my question bout the complete volume of water used per month, was it 2 gallons for both units?, does this change when you do the monthly 2 month clean? Since you do a full drain of both sides of the matress and units, does it add another half a gallon to each unit? As the instructions say, it takes half a gallon for each unit including matress topper to be filled, which would calculate to 3 galons every 2nd month when doing a clean, hope I'm making more sense now, appreciated, I also have the WE dock pros V2, also make sure sleepmee App and firmware are up to date, had to have support login my units to firmware update 😀

@@qnge6tyioo209 this is all good info, I appreciate it!! Our water looked fine when I did the 6 month maintenance. As long as you throw some system cleaner into the system at the 1-3 month interval, use distilled water, and do the 6 month maintenance it should be pretty good. I think the bigger issue is the actual break down of the unit from engineering issues. I’m sure they will sort it out. The Dock Pro system has a well-known defective backflow valve which will stop working after a few months and leave puddles of water under your bed. Even worse the company takes literally months to ship replacement units and many of the replacement units also leak. I unfortunately found this out the hard way. I would avoid this system and this company until the problem gets fixed.

@@TodayIWorkOn Thank you for the reply. After viewing the videos on your playlist, I am wondering if any of the leakage problems are rooted in it going the the washer without it being drained first?
