The man is a genius and his political stance just makes so much sense. Especially when you understand that these aren’t even opinions.. these are facts that he dug up and researched on his own merit (with no “hidden agenda” like every other politician today), really just makes you appreciate his political savvy so much further. He should be running for President, no doubt about it.

Most of our regulations are result of companies whining to government. For example, jaywalking became a crime because of car dealers not wanting to admit that cars cause more accidents than pedestrians

What probably happened was that the on set timer was actually correct, but the "timer" added in post was stretched to start a bit too early and end a bit too late. You can see the the on screen timer starts before Tim says the words "60 second soapbox" instead of starting when Tim actually starts his speech.

I timed this so you don't have to. The stopwatch in this is going slower than a usual clock. 60 seconds in real-time were over at 54 seconds in this stopwatch, so at around 1:29 (video timer). When the stopwatch in the video reached 60 seconds, it was actually a minute and 8 seconds. Go out into the world and do with this knowledge as you please.
