FABULOUS!!!! I have questions: why use house paint. What is the purpose/use of these skins? YES would love to see how you remove the skins. A few years back I discovered painting with oils and acrylic and I noticed that when you removed the dried paint off the glass pallet I could use them to put in my sketch book to document colors used. Not sure this is the same thing, but it feels like it to me. Am curious about your answers.....

It’s the type of paint that works best in this fluid Art Technique. The skins are used any way you plo. I used them for multiple things but many people use them for jewelry 😃

Lori, when you use house paint whay are you mixing with it? anything or is it straight house paint? It looks really thick. I'm guessing this bottom layer is thicker than the rest?

If a person uses parchment paper does it matter which side to use Does the base coat have to have any medium in it and what about the colors that you use do they also have medium in it I'm going to be making some specific acrylic skins is it okay if the paint is thick

The reason that the paint only lifts off of the "shiny side" of the paper is that the "other side absorbs the paint because it's absorbent
I would like to see you remove the paintskin . thanks!

One of my friends used to paint with house paint and has now battled cancer 2 times. Please be careful and wear proper protection and paint with windows and doors open. House paints have lots of dangerous chemicals unlike most acrylic paints made for art.

Warning.. The information below could trigger some people.. The warning signs of pour addiction All below statements should be read as if they are a question.. You begin to notice that your loved one has paint on literally all there clothes.. Even their swimsuit robe and pj's When u go shopping all they say is eww I could pour on that or I wonder what kind of pattern that would make Random House hold items suddenly come up missing.. Ex. Dust pan.. Dishes of any kind strainers.. ( basically if it's missing they are trying to pour w it) They begin spending and obscene amount of money on something called "flotral".. They start giving away paintings at every holiday or even just random occasions.. And I know this may first appear as a kind gesture.. But don't be fooled.. They simply have run out of space for more paintings.. The drop all other hobbies.. Activities.. Even friends and family are sometimes pushed to the side.. 😥 sad.. (Lol) The only places they are interested in going anymore is places like hobby lobby.. Michaels.. And yes Walmart but only as a last option and only in the paint section Your house suddenly looks like an art gallery that no one ever takes there art from... They just keep bring more in and rearranging them to make them fit.. They become incredibly excited and overwhelmed by something called this little piggy paint.. ( this is one of the most dangerous sign.. This means they are on the hard stuff) 😂 And last but certainly not least u begin to notice paint all over the house in strange places.. The tub the kitchen sink the dinning room table the back porch.. Pretty much anywhere they are about to clear a 5 by 5 section of space... Some people have even lost entire rooms to this disease.. Please just know there is finally help as I plan to start a 12 step program.. I am not only a survivor myself but I have seen so many friends go down this road.. Well I need to go all this talk has triggered me into a relapse and I need to mix paint for the next 2 hours.. 🥰😉☺ 🤣🤣 love y'all!! Keep pouring let's learn to be functioning addicts together!! Lol
