No, I thought they might so I built the swings smaller. However, there was actually plenty of room to go bigger.

6 6x6x8 frame 6 6x6x10 column 12 lag bolts or 10” nails You will want to drill pilot holes I put half a bag of concrete in each hole

What angles did you cut the timbers to make the hexagon bud ? Have you just pocket screwed the top frame to the uprights

He cut the top angles at 30° on a miter saw 7’ 11”. He used 6x6 posts. He built top first and set it on the ground to determine where the posts needed to go. Then once done, attached top pieces with large lag bolts.
