Today was definitely better. All this stress does make me think about my future and my goals so that isn’t a bad thing. Just have to figure out what I want to do when I finish growing up 😂

Do you get a break at work? If so, take a walk! That way you are getting exercise in and don’t have to do as much when you get home. I am on my feet at work, for 7/8 of my shift so I am constantly walking, and lifting, so I came home, do the cooking, eat, and clean-up, feed the dogs, and go to sleep. I do this 5-6 days a week. I try and get a little exercise in that isn’t lifting, so a long walk or something like that, or something aerobic. I have been piling up new cookbooks to read and cook from and trying to read some everyday. I also am reading Ina Garten’s memoir (the Barefoot Contessa cookbooks). Trying to read 3-5 chapters a week. So far I have read 2 chapters this week. I started 3 of the cookbooks (I’ve gotten 4 this week and I am getting another 3 in the next 2 weeks). October is the month where most of my favorite cookbook authors come out with their new books usually. I am also getting another in. November. I have pre-ordered 2 of them. That is my main collection is cookbooks. I actually read them the whole way through and then start cooking from them. So I have probably cooked from 80% of my thousands (yes, thousands) of cookbooks.

I do get breaks at work. I get two 15 minutes breaks and a 30 minute lunch break. Sadly they go to quickly to get out for a walk. On my 15’s by time I use the bathroom and refill my water they are over. Lunch also goes pretty quickly plus I have to move my car closer at my last break so that it's closer as we have no lights in the parking lot right now and I don't want to walk across a dark parking lot at 9 pm. I also try to get as much done as I can on work days. My work days just working and get to and from is 13 hour day and that doesn't include getting up and getting ready. I often comes down to what is more important at that time sleep or exercise. Some days I just need extra sleep. 🥰
