Sorry for the old comment just a heads up on frames. Malibu and Lemans frames are the same length. Regal, cutlass, monte, grandprix are longer. We did a 82 grand prix frame under a 80 grand am front facia wouldn't bolt up. We had to drill and colapse the front bumper shocks to get front facia to bolt on and it barely bolted up. But hey nice job on the frame like the cross bars and all.

Thinking of doing the same to my bu. Im not a welder nor do I have one but want to purchase one and weld myself, what are the specs on the welder you used and did it penetrate the weld all the way through? Thanks!

James Nelson iam useing a 185 Marquette mig welder with .30 gasless wire were i am to fill up on argon gas is $300 so i play with the settings on the welder on a scrap piece of metal till i get penatration and a solid beed it works fine on frames but when you get to thicker metals you will need gas but gas is always better when welding at enytime hope iv answered your queation

Man I went to look at a beautiful elcamino the other day, the dude had spent a ton of money and countless hours but as soon as I opened the door the smell of cigarette crushed the deal, I was ready to lay the coin on this ride.
