Presently what St Pierre knew and when is unknown. It IS known the Quebec commission violated both the UFC contract and their own rule book. Its also clear the UFC colluded with the Quebec commission in violation and asked it be "off the record". When senior legal counsel of the UFC is caught violating rules and excusing it like a nervous crook, asking it be off the record, then later denying the conversation even took place while deriding one of the participants, there are SERIOUS problems.

This is crazy, I never saw this before. While there are no certainties that GSP missed weight or benefited from this, Nick and his camp definitely had reason to be upset because Nick had to cut more weight than he had to. Anyone who cuts weight knows that every pound gets exponentially harder to cut than the last. How do I know this you ask? Well when one of my favourite fighters have a fight coming up, I like to start cutting weight a few weeks out from the event as well. It helps me feel connected to the fighter. I went from 130 pounds to 110 pounds for this card (I'm 6'3). I smashed a 4 pack of orange Gatorade when Nick made weight!! Nick if you read this please reply to my fan mail I've sent you 11 portraits of you that I have painted as well some cash to help fund your camps! Pls. I'm going to try and call you again today.

In his fight against Ben Henderson, Nate Diaz was forced to go lose an extra two tenths when he weighed in at 155.2, the justification being that, in title fights, there is no leeway. GSP has said that, in his fight against Nick, he weighed in at 170.4. Now, OBVIOUSLY, that 0.4 lbs is not the reason Georges handed Nick's ass to him, but it's hard to argue that the Diaz boys aren't getting jerked around here. It might not go differently, but I'd still love to see the rematch.

"But the good news is, they don't count the decimal. If you're 170.2 it's 170. If it's 170.9. it's 170." "Why didn't you tell us that yesterday?" "Well, no, it's just something to keep in mind. That's kind of an off the record type of thing. But keep that in mind. As long as he's under 171, we should be good. "But, there is a time period afterwards, for you and Georges only. All the other fighters have to make it the first time. Just letting you guys be in the loop, okay?" "Good luck."

If an mma fighter (hypothetically speaking), walks around at a natural weight of 170lbs, while the other fighter has to cut from a natural weight of 185lbs, couldn't his weight advantage, come fight time be considered "morally cheating?" I mean, now there's a 15lb weight discrepancy..? Weigh-ins should happen during the walk-in and not the day before. .9lbs is a silly argument in my opinion. I still dig both Diaz and GSP and can't wait to watch their next fights..

That's crazy. Honestly, I don't see GSP getting past Hendricks. That leaves it open for awesome fights between you and Condit + Hendricks. You have the boxing down but you need to work non-stop with some great wrestlers to stop the take down. The latter part of that fight w GSP, you were getting up fine. I'd also look for some boxing matches in the future. Lot of money and boxing would kill to bring fans back over. You would do that for them (but negotiate) and bring a lot of excitement...think!

Hes stated this but there has been no conclusive proof either way so his situation is unknown presently. Same with his comments on weight. I don't believe hes as clean as he presents or the UFC promotes him to be but what he stated in the press cant yet be confirmed or denied. There is no denying the illegality of the Quebec commissions actions nor the UFC's co-signing of them as well as the UFCs attempt to implement illegal rule changes "off the record", deny it and then deride the Diaz camp.

This is the thing everyone asks or they say that Diaz would've been destroyed either way blah, blah, blah. Facts are, this is evidence that the higher ups in the commission made a rule change saying decimals are allowed. It says in every commission rule book that BOTH fighters MUST weigh at 170 pound maximum, which is what is CONTRACTED. Meaning they abused the contract, meaning that, legally, Diaz has rights to a potential re-match. Good political drama in the best sport on the planet! :]

Diaz should go join boxing or BJJ if he doesn't want to get clowned for 25 minutes by a superior fighter. GSP was trying to get Diaz down, he's superior on the ground and it was obvious. Diaz wasn't "crawling" away? Why didn't he submit GSP like everyone was claiming he was going to do? Diaz's stand up? Please, Nick really needs to start fighting people who will walk right into what he wants to do, Condit and GSP are way too smart to walk directly into Diaz's patty cake punches.
