Love your recipes! I've made several of them and all were fantastic! I keep a large jar of homemade mustard in my fridge and My Christmas baking wouldn't be the same without your German spice! Thank You for all the hard work you put in to bring us a taste of Germany! Take care!!

I think I would enjoy eating this cold in the summer and warm in the winter. This is very special and anything that good justifies the effort put into it. I will get going on this and order the grains. Thank you as always.

Please ask your doctor since I don't know your medical history. As far as I know, in general grains are good in the diet it you have gout but as mentioned: I'm not your doctor and there might be other facts to think about.

Having tasted quark in Germany as a young man, and loved it. I never could find anything close or the same in Toronto Can., What do you use❓

I make my own quark. A recipe is here on the channel but it‘s a bit of a workaround and bot fool proof. I personally use a quarkmaker from Europe. I‘ll have to find a better way to show you guys how to make Quark, working on it!

Isn't it best to cook grains so it's absorbed better?
@MyGermanRecipes

Not sure if that’s better. If you cook the grains, you loose some of the vitamins. When I soak them overnight they are just as soft as if they were cooked. I think that makes them as good absorbed as cooked.

Seventh-day Adventists always eat the same breakfast, consisting of a mixture of nine grains, fresh berries, and nuts. 1. winter hard red wheat 2.soft white wheat 3. oats 4. husked barley 5. corn 6. millet 7. linseed 8. rye 9. full barley could you demonstrate how to prepare this?

I actually don‘t know what/who seventh day adventists are nor do I know their food. If they eat the grains like in my video, I‘d suggest to just switch out the grains and prepare it the way I did?
