1) pay in cash 2) keep a change jar (coins) 3) use a cash back rewards card 4) automatic deductions aka auto pay 5) round of savings 6) ask what an item is truly worth 7) turn prices into working hours 8) make it a habit to save money! 9) focus on ways to make more money than saving it Thank you for this awesome advice!

1 and 3 are contradictory aren't they?

@@TroyKnox nope they aren't. Point 1 still stands. His overall point too was about saving money and spending smart. So that's where point 3 comes in. #smartspending

If you are building a business or a brand, lock yourself in during weekdays and grind on you thing (treat yourself on weekends). Going out always results in small spendings that quickly add up.

I don't agree with your first advice. When I pay with card, I can easily keep track of where every cent that I spent went in real time. If I pay cash, it is sometimes hard to recall where I spent my money, especially with small things along the way. Also, if I have to pay cash, I always give all the coins that fit the amount! What's the point of keeping so much weight in the pocket. O.o Especially since we have those thick Euro coins.

I set a price to save each month for a set amount of months and transfer that money out of my spending account biweekly. Then I allow myself to visualize how much I can save in a year at the current rate.

While I understand your points, paying with cash + using a cash back card is contradicting. You can't fully benefit from one while also doing the other.
