I don’t buy or own many things that people usually do. What some might see as a deprivation or lack of joy, I see as an intentional minimalist lifestyle focused on simplicity and clarity. Where everything has its own purpose and doesn’t distract me from truly important things.
But it hasn’t always been this way. I used to be a person who didn't give much thought before buying something. I was sure that buying stuff would make my life better, make me better.
Yet, over time, I began to realize that buying things provided only temporary satisfaction. The excitement of a new purchase would quickly fade, replaced by dissatisfaction or craving to buy more.
I discovered that simplifying my life, decluttering both physically and mentally, brought a deeper sense of contentment than any shopping spree ever did.
In this video I share some things I no longer spend money on, since I adopted minimalist lifestyle, stopped buying things impulsively, and created space for what matters to me. Enjoy!
