How long can I talk about one bullet? Challenge accepted!
The story of “the Gettysburg bullet” is just too cool to keep to myself. Gives me goosebumps to think that a soldier fired this bullet 160 years ago, shooting to kill, and it hit the house that is now my Paper Cartridges LLC shop.
There’s a bunch of bullets dug up and sold at tourist trinket shops, but they don’t have a story or a provenance. This one does, and I wonder what the soldier who fired it would think and say if he knew his bullet hit a building where a Civil War cartridge shop would be operating 160 years later…
