Dee, you’re very hard working, talented and very eloquent. When you’re in the city, you demonstrate the skills of a typical city girl, and when you’re back in your village, you also demonstrate the skills of a village girl. You’re very versatile. Your future husband will be very blessed to have a beautiful, educated, hardworking woman like you with so many skills and someone who can easily adapt to many environment. Very proud of you. May God continue to bless you and your beautiful family.

@@DeeMwango I'm glad you all wore gumboots to the Shamba! There is a different way of planting potatoes. We used to make countless heaps of soil next to each other. Then the potatoe leaves were inserted in the ground atop the heaps. It took 3 months to harvest. And the yield is phenomenal. This was in Jina back then. I would be surprised if they changed the method since its been close to 40 years since I left.

Village life looks fun and very educating , the average American does not know how to farm and raise livestock but my father and mother does, but they never taught me the way. Most of us Americans are spoiled with everything in the grasp of our hands, and I'm one of them, I would have loved for my father or mother to teach me how to farm. Now we would like you to milk the cows and goats, and cook them, and also catch fish and cook them PLEASE !!!!!! Thank you for your videos !!!!!!

In The Gambia, we have a lots of MUSHROOM types but we never Eat them because they are poison. But at the same time some varieties might not be poison but in the Gambia we never try to see which ones are poison and those which are not. In Sweden where i stay now, there are a lot of MUSHROOMS of different variety and they Eat all of them and i Eat them too, they are very nice in taste. I want to know how MUSHROOMS in Kenya are prepared in food to be eaten? Thanks.

@@a.muchemi4360 Says the usual tribalist demagogues. Western Kenya is the African cultural melting pot of Kenya. The Kuria, Kisii, Luo, Luhya & Kalenjin have a well defined African Culture that's why the white man failed to grab their land. They also have the cleanest Cities & towns in Kenya with a very literate population. Central Kenya on the other hand is more of a Colonial land inhabited by tribalists. It's peaceful living around people from the West, tribalism isn't a priority for them.
