It seems Spinosaurus and several residence of the Kemkem formation like Paralatitan rebbechasaurus Carcharodontosaurus rugops Alanqa and the large fish as Big Reward for Dinner.

Not so. Spinosaurus was the primary fish-eater, while Carcharodontosaurus and Alanqa hunted other dinosaurs, and Rugops was relegated to scavenging.

There’s something fishy to me about Spinosaurus. One study showed that is was most likely not a very buoyant animal. Then the discovery of its paddle-like tail was shown to the public, saying that it was a powerful swimmer. Despite the evidence of it not being a very buoyant animal. Would swimming have drained a lot of stamina because of the effort the Spinosaurus made to try to keep itself afloat while paddling with its tail and webbed feet, been more like a heron when hunting, or controlled its buoyancy like a crocodile? Crocodiles, alligators, caimans, and gharials today can stay afloat by inflating their lungs. If a crocodilian fills its lungs fully with air, it’ll float because it weighs less than the water it pushes aside when in the water. If it needs to go underwater and stay under for a prolonged period of time, it can then deflate its lungs.

The paddle-like tail probably completely redacts the buoyancy study. What's the point in being a powerful swimmer if you can't float?

Hmm. You make a good point. Spinosaurus is one of those dinosaurs filled with so many surprises and has gone through so much change in terms of depictions.

A true prehistoric enigma that has indeed gone through many, MANY changes, right up there in terms of strangeness with the likes of Stegosaurus and Iguanodon.
