Thank you all for stopping by! I hope everyone has had a great week, and I hope everyone has a great week to come!

I feel as though the title for this one is a tad misleading now that I've finished it. It was intended to actually be a more useful step-by-step guide to what I have learned about wood block printmaking, as it turns out, it became more of a general overview of a print proofing session. I definelty felt a tad rusty with editing, as it has been quite the break from the last time I had mad a video... Anyways, more about the video content itself. Within the last year, I have really begun to develop both the obsession and fascination with traditional Japanese wood block printmaking. It all started, like most of us trying our hand at mokuhanga, with seeing a video from David Bull. Unlike my painting and drawing work, I consider this more of a hobby than work. The image is a combination of myself and a, currently, unknown reference, as soon as I find out who was responsible for that initial image I will credit them. I thought it would be fun to do a cat themed print. Hopefully once I have produced a final print, I will be able to use this as my Holiday/Thank you print. I thought it would be a really simple, lovely object once the prints were finished, I think once I do a proper print run they will be! I really tried to increase the quality of the audio in this one, trying to bring it closer to the ASMR quality. I don't know if I succeeded overall, but I do think it was an overall improvement. Anyways... I hope everyone has a fantastic week.
