I really needed this right now. A sort of reminder that I'm not absolutely crazy, that there's sense in this and that I just need to push and work harder. Every now and then you just need to see and hear your own perspective come from someone else's mouth. Awesome work, thank you so much.

Man, I learned a ton about the entrepreneurial mindset from this. Figure out WHO YOU ARE and what you want to give to the world, have a mega strong WHY, document the hell out of your journey, let future customers see you and know you, be super authentic and vulnerable, and be gritty (work, don't worry about failure). All "failures" are steps toward success. Just subbed to Gerard's channel. Thanks for the help, guys.

Yes he is. What a great channel you have, Tom. I'm gonna subscribe to Gerards channel too. I've lost everything over the last two years. Went in debt $70,000. I'm not able to use my arms or legs due to MS, but here I am using a stick in my mouth to type this. In a few minutes, I'm gonna go set up some affiliate campaigns. I love the part where Gerard talks about the ego. I so much understand that now.

I am in a space where I could easily break, give up, give in...I see my failures as a window, opening, opportunity to grow and become more influential. The work is difficult, especially emotionally. Finding talks like this are sometimes the only encouragement I can find. Thank you! I will survive. I will thrive again.

Underviewed episode. Authenticity and deep self-knowledge. It shows. He's been through the fire and came back anew. Gerard has a strong mission and is therefore unstoppable. Humble man as well. Gratefulness. All qualities developed through his own personal quest and spiritual practices. Inspiring. A true example of authentic leadership. Way to Go, Gerard! I wish you more of the same.

Those 'rite of passage' moments steered me in the right direction. During 6th grade, I was heading down the wrong direction. I was around terrible people and then one day when I was getting my grade day report...my English teacher said, "looks like you're doing horrible in all your other classes." That simple phrase made me wake up and I finally got back on track with who I was. 9th grade was even more critical because either you're going to surround yourself with the cool guys (none of them went on to graduate high school) or do what's right. Luckily, marching band and seeing a lot of students wearing green scrubs helped me for those four years.

I have to admit that I am surprise. After watching the Goggins episode I though there wouldn’t be much worth to see. Every single person knows to a certain level what they need or at least what they prefer to do. So I have been working on my side projects and studying for university as hard as I can. Nevertheless, today after watching this episode I came to the conclusion that this show is amazing. Its much more than a great entertainment. Is a place where ideas merge and deep discussions come true in which I as a spectator feel also part of them. I just wanted to say thank you very much for the great and precise work you guys do to make this awesome show be a reality for all of us. I deeply enjoy every single episode and it is kinda nice to find a show where I identify myself with the people who speak and with you Tom, you really are a great interviewer. It is so obvious that you have prepared yourself previously so good because your questions are not general ones with no goals. Your questions have character. They are questions which matter, questions which allow us to understand the person sitting next to you better, questions which make you connect and which make the other person feel closer to you because they feel that you know them, that you understand them, that they don’t need to explain to you who they are because you already know. Like in the Gary Vaynerchuk episode, how Gary said you were doing awesome questions and that the interview was very deep and special. I know it was a long text but I felt I needed to express my gratitude to you and every single person who makes this show work. Thank you for the awesome content. Keep the good work and I will keep watching :)

Tommy, there is this really awesome guy named Sean Rakidzich. Can’t say enough about the guy. Self-made millionaire, grew up helluv poor, parents on welfare, siblings possibly separated due to lack of money and insufficient home environment. Was homeless, and now is a millionaire from mastering rental arbitrage using airbnb and other shirt-term rental channels. The guy has SO much spirit and a heart of gold. You can find him online in his youtube channel which is on the move and blowing up. Definitely a great future guest. I think you’d really like him and he’d be super inspired by your heart and humanity.

will they make it? I learned to rely more on gut feeling than facts they tell. I ask myself ‚can I work with this person‘ ‚do I trust them‘ ‚can I feel the spark‘ there is a way our instincts know better than reason. At least this works way better than trying to rationalize where I‘ve seen me do rather wrong judgements
