Unable to bear to see his uncle's coffee factory closing shop, Mr Lim Eng Lam took over and the business more than 10 years ago and has grown it successfully till today. Using his own unique blend of Robusta, Arabica and Liberica coffee beans, his traditional coffee has a rich, nostalgic aroma. Coffee is brewed with a thick cotton coffee sock in a coffee kettle. After adding boiling water to grounded coffee, the mixture is left for a moment to diffuse the full coffee fragrance.
A popular toast that goes well with the coffee is Roti Soldier, that comes in crunchy toasted sticks with sesame sauce. Apart from that, there are a slew of dishes offered - Kaya Butter Toast, Chee Cheong Fun and many more!
As an heritage enthusiast, Mr Lim shares his vintage collections displayed at the Coffee Museum on the 2nd level. Customers can enjoy a comforting dose of this smooth, aromatic coffee in a cozy, nostalgic yet modern ambience.
