I first read this as "pollster helps maintain our anxiety," which is also accurate.

I'm still so baffled by when people said they liked Trump's policies, what they were talking about.

Things were simply better under Trump and after 4 years of Democrat rule people are feeling it. Under Trump the economy was stronger, there were no new foreign wars and illegal immigration was being stemmed. It's not really that hard to understand.

Glad you asked! I like his push to make America energy independent and his boarder policies. 79% of Americans say that we are currently on the wrong track. That track is due to Democrats policies. We need strong energy, a protected boarder and a smart foreign policy. Id much rather have Trump than Kamala BY FAR! Why do you fit in the 21% that thinks that we are on the right track?

I was struck by her comment that the margin of error applies to each figure in a poll, and not just the margin between the two figures. So, for example, a poll of 46-43 could be from 49 or 43 to 46 or 40.

I'm not a professional, but doesn't weighting averages of already weighted polls make them too weighted?? if that makes sense

There's no reason Trump should be able to win. It's the weakness of Democrats and American liberals in general that makes him possible.

You don’t talk about the dangers of an authoritarian regime if Trump wins and how this will affect all and freedom of speech and press

You already survived 4 years of Trump being president. This is just hyperbole. Remember how often Trump would front up to the press room at the White House and field questions from reporters? Now compare that with Biden and Kamala.

If Trump wins it's a win for working class Americans. If Kamala wins it's a win for the military industrial complex.

Nate Cohn, who does their polling, is famously the most transparent and thoughtfully self-critical pollster. Whether you think the his polls are biased towards Harris or Trump, I would recommend you read Cohen's recent articles and you may find you actually agree with him quite a bit.

It's pretty clear you have no idea what you're talking about. Suggestion: Before you trash people, maybe find out what's actually going on. It probably won't make you a thoughtful, wise and happy person, but at least it will make you less of a dick. You're welcome.
