Hi David. Thanks for the video. There are only two bikes which i have loved basically my whole life. 1. Honda Hornet 599 (excluding the new CB650F) 2. Honda CB4 SuperFour Revo 2012 and later. Now, i have my chance of buying one. I am in Dubai, and i am getting a 2006 model, with just 12k driven. It will be my first 600cc class bike, as previously in Pakistan, i am only used to riding bikes like a Honda CG125. Do you have any suggestions for me? Especially regarding the maintenance of this thing? I feel like i am basically the sole owner of such a bike in whole Dubai, so your words will mean a lot to me. Thanks

Ahmad Bilal I am basically about to buy the same model! Did you get it? Any comments about maintenance etc? How was the leap from 10hp to 100hp? Manolo

Hi Ahmad, If you are new to biking then a Honda is always a good start. The 600 and 650s are a strong robust bike that has had years of development dating back to the very first CBR600 (similar engine and gearbox) in 1987 by one of the most conscientious of motorcycle manufactures. Cheers, David.

Holy moly, it's breathtaking to see it's been 5 months since that comment. Time flied instantly for me on this machine :D I am 1000% satisfied with this thing. To me, this is the best bike in the whole world. Overstatement? Not even. To me, this 'simple yet modern' looking bike is the best bikes in ALL categories for me. There, i said it. You know why i think like it? Because whenever i think about 'replacing' this bike, NOT A SINGLE thing comes to my mind which is as beautiful as this bike is, to me. Maybe a CB4, but that would be a downgrade. CB1100 or 1300? Nah, doesn't rev as high. Looks freakin' gorgeous, though. You are absolutely right. It's robust. It's low maintenance. It's easy to drive, and the high reving engine just beats everything. I can't imagine going to a bike with low reving engine. Smooth power delivery across all RPMs, and cornering is so easy on it. I am not even close to an expert rider, but i was almost touching my knees on the road in corners. Now i understand the beauty of inverted forks. In 5 months, i have put more than 11000. (Current Odo is 237xx something). Drawbacks which i feel too much: - Fuel capacity is just too low. Should be above 20L. - Gear Indicator. I really miss it. :( - Braking power. Don't get me wrong, it's sufficient, but this thing should have a performance braking package for more consistent braking performance. (I've changed pads, my discs are fine. may get braided hoses). Apologies for the rant. Got too excited to see your reply :D

Extremely happy owner since 5 months now. Time flied too quickly. It's surprisingly low maintenance. I have put 11k more miles on it (current odo stands at 237xx something), and guess how much maintenance did I do? Oil and Filter Change. That's it. Just changed the rear brake pads suspecting them worn out.) I lubricate drive chain every 600-1000kms or so with LiquiMoly Chain Lubricant (Spray). I am trying different engine oils, but so far have only experimented with LiquiMoly and one brand of Shell. Man I'm glad for your reply too. I am getting one next week. I rode it and I was amazed by the lightness of it, despite its 180 kilos. It felt like a feather and it flew. I loved it. 11000 miles in 5 months is really something. Hope you are well and do 110000 more! Cheers

Hi, If it is the left side you are looking at, it is a tax disc holder to prove the tax has been paid. It is an old video and we do not have those any more here in the UK
