Johnny, I have followed you for a while now, first time I have commented. I hold you in high regard, your open way of sharing agricultural knowledge is first class, the way you explain technical information is exceptional. To tackle the subject postnatal psychosis on your channel you will have reached people who would never think about. As you mention awareness; If people are aware, by default you may have saved a life. Postnatal psychosis is a real problem. Good work. All the best from Down under.

My God, this must have been an incredibly hard video to make Jonny - you've certainly opened my eyes to a hell of a lot during this difficult video. It's very clear to see the struggle you experienced whilst speaking from your heart - bloody well done mate, that took guts. My sincere condolences go out to James and Annabelle plus all your family for the devastating loss - there are no words that will help right now. Stay strong, stay close, be there for each other and never be afraid to speak up. Take each day as it comes in small steps and allow yourselves time. X

Respect to you Johnny for sharing. Condolences to everyone. Thoughts go out to James and Anabell. I'm lost for words when it comes to how to move on. Only thing I can say is that every day is worth fighting for. 8 years now I have been a dad all alone with 2 kids. I do so much hope for James that he will do anything that he can for his little girl to keep her safe and be a dad for her. He will never regret being just that, even though he may feel like everything is lost. I promis him that he will never regret being a dad even if you ever have to do it alone.

You are a mirror image of me... always thinking about others and caring... and always looking at ways to help others. Wether being just an ear or what.... always thinking about your family and how you can keep them safe... I can really see that you are a proper sound caring passionate lad.. what you done in this video has made my heart cry... BIG respect!!!.. life can be very cruel and always seems to take the best.... we all have massive pressures and issues in life... I am always smiling and always appear happy and full of life just like your self.. but there will always be something in your head that's making you sad and down despite not coming across that way.. it's the sad part of life that we come across hard challenges... but we must always look at the better picture and remember things do work out. Not alwyas but they do mostly somewhere at some poiny. But we must also remember we are all only here once.. so live life for today and not for Tommorow and always be careful what you say to the ones you love the most... as you just never no what's going on in there mind.. I send my biggest condolences to the family and friends and especially the father of their little angel that has to keep it together for the little girl... my heart tears out for that man... no words can describe what he must be feeling... I'm glad you made the video Jonny. Because this has even opened my eyes more than before.... You also have my biggest sympathys as you also have landed on tough times.. but keep up the good spirit and I wish you all the best and you have my full support!!...

Jonny - This must have been an incredibly hard video to make but I am glad that you did. I had not heard of postnatal psychosis before so it is good to get it out there and raise awareness. My deepest sympathy goes to you and especially the family members directly affected. There is no right or wrong as mental health affects us all in different ways including grief. The one thing I can tell you is that there is not one of us who will not be thinking of you and your family and sending our love and thoughts to you all. We will be here for you so take all the time you need and get through things a day at a time fella.

Thanks Peter! It wasn’t easy, I was worried people might think i was after a sympathy vote or something along those lines. But i just thought if I can talk about it and make people aware of it there is a really slim chance it might help to stop this happening for somebody else. I think it is something I’m going to cover more in the future and try to raise as much awareness about it as I can. If we had only known about it, maybe we would have spotted the subtle signs and this wouldn’t have happened, but looking at it like that isn’t healthy and I would just like to help others now. Thanks again Peter :)

Hi Jonny, My deepest condolences are with James and Annabelle. Such a sad thing to hear someone like Laurain has unfortunately gone through with something like this. This is what pisses me off a lot with life nowadays. It's always the decent people that don't deserve anything to happen to them, end up with shit happening to them yet the scum bags that do deserve it can go about their life's without any issues. My apologies for the small rant, it's just that this topic has hit home. I very much appreciate you uploading this video and putting awareness on this type of illness as it's a scary thing to see the lack of knowledge people have these days with illnesses like depression. As for you though Jonny, don't worry about not uploading much or not replying to comments/messages. Like I've said to you before mate, your life is 100% more important than KZitem! The decent people that are subscribed to you will understand these type of situations and stand by your decisions and not expect much videos. I'm one of them as I don't care whether you upload every single day or once a month, I appreciate any video you upload. Sorry for the long comment, I seem to struggle with writing small comments haha. Anyway mate I do hope you and your family are ok. Take as much time away from KZitem as you need, we'll all still be here for you when you get back! :) Take care mate

This is incredibly sad and my heart goes out to specifically Annabelle and James but also to all those affected by this. It's been a terrible year for you and your family, and I wish I knew the right thing to say. I think you did the right thing posting this Jonny. To raise awareness of such a serious issue is important and also to address mental health in general. We need more people to talk about it to ensure that people get the help they need. We should never be ashamed to talk about how we feel. I am sorry I am late to this but please do send our sympathy to all. I long for the day where we no longer have to deal with such awful tragedies.

It Takes some guts to do a video like this mate. Thoughts are with Annabelle and James. I agree we need to do more about depression in agriculture because it can be a lonely place but hopefully videos like this will help at the least one person and get people talking 🤞
