"There's nothing to do at night" Cue immediate knocking at the door, shadows turning off your lights, and a savage breaking in and attacking lmao

Well done surviving that dream sequence, it's very esoteric. 😂

Dude this man’s upload schedule is great for a lot of reasons. Firstly it’s consistently once a day, secondly he allows people who can afford to support him directly to see them early on a similarly excellent schedule, and thirdly when he starts a new small game he might upload twice in one day

This game has not only masterful scares but storytelling as well, it might seem nonsensical now but figuring out more will be very rewarding if you can keep track of previous events and other details.

One of the most stressful games for me. Can’t even make it to the second night from shear anxiety.

The jumpscares in this game are top shelf lmao I jumped just as hard as you did at 30:44 and I'm just watching🤣
@anitaremenarova6662

I wouldn't really call them jumpscares, the game just has you so on edge with the masterful sound design combined with not being able to see almost anything that you jump at the slightest stimulus.

@@anitaremenarova6662 in that sense the game makes you think everything is going to be a jumpscare lol

Scenes like 30:44 are why I cannot play this game myself. It's not the fear, it's the frustration of being punished for not being able to distinguish between the 5 pixels representing a trap and the background blending in. Kudos to your resolve for pressing forward!

I knew that thing was gonna go through that window you left open by the generator when you coaxed it towards the window with the bear trap and it still scared me lol

It's refreshing to see you this scared, 4 years of playing various horror games made you quite brave. Well, minus your fear of ghosts of course. I guess Darkwood is so unnerving because it doesn't let you see far, and hearing someone so close to you is horrible.

You've maybe already done it if you played more, but you should check the ground in front of the main entrance to the hideout.
