@@Kingumaru See I have been a fan of Aaliyah's eyes for a lonnnng time, it was always one of her best features to me, her pupils, eye shape and natural bottom lashes has always intrigued me . I agree that it looks a different color but a lot of times when the sun or lighting hits brown eyes they appear lighter which is what I believe is happening here. Her face and features are beautiful enough to wear the contacts and not let the contacts wear her, regardless. I know plenty of celebs that can put in color contacts and still couldn't look half this good . Aaliyah is more beautiful than a colored contact

Not sure who would say that other than the most ignorant racist of people. Beauty comes in all shades of color. To people of all shades like myself, she was the most beautiful woman inside and out. I tried to meet her here in Vancouver when she was filming RMD, but shooting locations were tight lipped. Turns out she was filming right outside my work location during the serpentine fire scenes.

Aaliyah was so laid back and comfortable in this interview. She was an private, laid back person. That loved to be around her family a lot. She had big goals, that she wanted to complete. Wow when Aaliyah said....you'll be seeing a lot in the future, meaning of her work😢🙏🏾. I just wished that we did see more of her. Aaliyah will always be remembered, I don't care how much time is passing by. She'll always be One In A Million.

Dwayne Fore Jr I met her once at the teen choice awards in 2000, and she was an absolute angel...the nicest celebrity I’ve ever met. I was so nervous, because i was a huge fan and looked up to her so much, but she was extremely kind to me and my sister. She even touched my hair. I’ll never forget that. 😢💔

She was a few years younger than me. (While she would've been 40 this year, I just turned 41 in December.) So I was a part of the group that got to know her as an artist from jump. Watch her career grow, and be utterly heartbroken that Saturday in August in 2001. I will never forget cleaning my apartment that morning, they played Rock The Boat on the radio. I remember thinking I couldn't wait to see the dance routine she'd do for the video. She was beautiful with such a magnetic personality, always nice to her fans. Girls wanted to be like her, guys.. well you know. One in a million she will always be.

My sister was the same age as u when she died...I was 19 then. I remember what I was doing & where I was that day like it was YESTERDAY! I know that I screamed when I saw it on VH1 & ran out of my room crying 2 my mom & then called my same-age cousin(as me). She has a personality that just defies description....so regal...almost perfection! It's something about her personality and the smoothness of her voice, not just in this interview, but every time she spoke or performed! Seeing/hearing her you can just almost feel the presence of heaven....a calm, a peace that's so enlivening and refreshing! She's captivating...just pulls you in with her beauty and then her voice grasps you! She was heaven bound....and that's why she couldn't stay here long. She was truly an angel....a angelic piece of heaven walking on earth. Her spirit shines through....even with her being noticeably tired in this interview, she still was polite, well spoken, smiling, poise and graceful. Lord knows I miss her. I love Aaliyah so much! She was my favorite artist growing up and she's still my favorite till this day...no one can replace her!

Truly a gift from GOD! This how Hollywood works, certain things they keep from the public...like this unknown interview for instance!! Her parents did an excellent job raising her right. If I was her I'd be burned out doing all that traveling especially if there's a schedule planned for me to keep up. In my opinion I liked the first 2 albums because the 1st one was little on the "street" side of things whereas the 2nd was a blend of everything. The 3rd one was pretty good, she became vocally stronger and the darkness came out on some songs. HAPPY 40TH BDAY 2U!!
