Carbs are very tempting and addicting. I manage to eat only greens and high protein for dinner, drink a lot of chamomile tea , sweet dessert is berries mostly raspberries and blackberries. Take magnesium glycinate before bedtime. Fasting blood glucose in the morning always lower than 90. Most of the days blood glucose test before bed is in the low 90s. Avoid carbs as much you can, specially in the evening and walk after every meal as much as possible

Why aren’t doctors teaching diabetics to give up oil completely and have butter or clarified butter in their diet. It takes a while but in a few years the cells are healed completely and there is no more insulin resistance. I was a diabetic for 25 years and I am totally healed. Be patient and you will see results. It won’t happen overnight because the cells need time to heal.

I’m creating a 3 month fat loss program for type 2 diabetics to reverse their diabetes. From my research it seems that one thing that causes insulin resistance as you see with prediabetes is fat developing in the liver as well as muscle cells. If you lose enough fat then this will help your prediabetes. Of course try to eat lower carbs. Good luck to you and your family! Let me know if I can help

I am wondering if positive results pertaining to blood sugar levels are the same or similar when comparing 2 meals early in the day (breakfst-lunch) or 2 meals later in the day (lunch-dinner). Intermittent fasting involves a window of 8 hours for eating and 16 for fasting. I started on this 3 weeks ago and I already am feeling better. I have a schedule of noon to 8 at night for eating. No more snacking after 8 and when I get up I just don't eat until noon rolls around. It isn't as hard as you may think. I am 66 years old and a type 2 diabetic. I don’t know why my A1C is high. I have not drunk soda or alcohol in many years. I drink 64-90 ounces of water with lemon everyday. I don’t use any seed oils and only use real butter, extra virgin olive oil and avocado oil. I only eat Dave’s protein bread. About one loaf per week. I mainly eat 0 fat Greek yogurt with fresh berries, 1 to 2 bananas per day, and muesli with berries or three eggs, both with organic chicken sausage. I do however consume a half gallon of OJ per week, almost a gallon of grass fed organic milk for an ingredient and protein shakes. Grass fed beef, chicken, turkey burgers and frozen vegetables and usually one to two cans of tuna out f the can for lunch. So Im perplexed! Im thinking our food has been greatly tampered with for me to have a high A1C. Any suggestions out there?????
