I had the AR5 version for years. Ugliest speakers I ever owned, but I loved their sound. I remade rhe baffles to put the units vertically in line. Didn't notice much difference. Joys of being a hifi nerd.

I need to sell my Porsche, track car and first child to get a stereo rig like that! Outstanding!! No need for sub woofers? I have Magnepan 7's with two SVS subs Yes l know a pain to dial in but l can't listen without my subs

You need to sell your Porsche. Track car (maybe not the child) to get to an emotional space where this comment would make no sense given the level of revised maturity (hint: stuff appeals to the chimp brain)

Amazing. Even through KZitem with cheap ear buds, the quality of the sound shines through. All of that exotic equipment, and the final transducer is a pair of vintage ARs! They sure made a great, and very affordable product back then. Are these your regular system speakers?

L'audio e in presa diretta senza posizionamento microfono.

What is not seen has been done. These speakers required a few years of work and underwent some very important upgrades worth over 3000 dollars. To this day the many visitors to my room and my shop that I manage with three partners struggle to find $15,000 new systems that do better. There are none. ☺️

@@frog8089 I'm sorry. My joke was not funny. I have two pairs 3a speakers. and I understand how difficult to make this vintage speaker best condition. Wonderful listening room!!
