Great watch this morning Andy, really useful tips, even though I've bowled for many years and watched many of the top players over the years I've never really thought about the science behind the delivery. Very very useful. Keep the videos coming, they're great👍👍

Good advice AC as you can’t find anything like this anywhere on the web for crown green. Also with your experience and knowledge of other players it is invaluable for players of all standards. Keep up the great work 👏

Are there any good bowlers who use the static delivery?

Can you show some various grips especially on wet greens as I have had trouble for the last three years. Thanks.

Some useful tips today.👍 If you are looking for subjects for tutorials perhaps you could consider providing guidance on the following issues: I seem to have developed the following problem over a period of time. The problem is when delivering my jack and bowl I sometimes whip my arm across my body. The result is I do not consistently deliver the jack and bowls on the same land. Also, what do you consider is the best way to ensure a bowler delivers the jack and bowls on the same land. Do you look for a ‘mark’ on the green or an object around the green when delivering the jack and bowls?

I'll be doing a video about the second issue. Regarding you arm across the body, all I can suggest is practice. Use the drill I showed with the 2 mats to make sure your stride and lead foot position is correct and hopefully your arm will follow suit

brilliant this morning Andy it's something I've always struggled with another point I've always played with my thumb over the bowl but when it's wet I really struggle to keep hold on my wood I tend to be short becuase my wood slips can you give me any idea how to change things Thanks Kev

Don't grip your bowl quite as tight in wet weather Kevin - a tight grip can cause your bowl to be squeezed off course in wet weather. Also use a cloth - make sure you get as much water off as possible.
