I brought this pack with me on my 7 day trip to Iceland a few years ago and it really streamlined my travel experience. This pack really is a game changer IMO and I was amazed in terms of how much I could fit in this thing. Packing cubes definitely make a difference in terms of maximizing its load potential. Otherwise it’s such a wonderful feeling to travel with this thing as a carry-on.

Which packing cubes did you use with this bag? Would you recommend?

@@travisd2280 I used the Aer packing cubes, which worked out nicely. The Eagle Creek packing cubes also work nicely for this pack.

Thank you! I didn’t know they had an actual store, would be awesome to see all of their bags in person!

How would you compare the material between the X- Pac and normal, non x-pac version ?

Can’t comment much on long term durability difference, both are holding up well. X-Pac has a slicker feel, shinier look and makes a little more noise(crinkling) when moving. It also seems to pick up dust on it more frequently. The ballistic nylon is almost the opposite of the described x-pac. It has a matte look and has a rougher texture. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Would this bag fit under an airport seat?

You could probably make it fit, but I think it’s a little too big and it would take up your legroom.

The small version (28L) fits underneath a plane seat no problem.
