Wouldn't you be better off just raising the Engine? Maybe also make a Heat Shield Plate Ceramic Coated that goes under the Engine Mounts that sticks out between the Wing Fabric and Exhaust! Ceramic Coat the Exhaust will reduce Outside Exhaust Temps also. You can do these coatings yourself in a Free Electric House Stove.

Raising the engine would also raise the Prop thrust line.

@@hayesaero9766 I'm sure that may be the correct way to go, but geez, the fabric looks terrible with all the wrinkles after the mod. I personally would just lift the engine an inch and suffer (?) with the thrust line being up an inch.

Too ironic - literally the same day you posted this I was scratching my head thinking the exhaust was going to burn a hole in the wing if I didn't throw some ceramic exhaust wrap on...might end up adding some anyways for good measure.
