This is my absolute favorite Aerosmith song, I love the lyrics soooooo much. This is the only song I know every lyric to without the music playing, I could just recite it like a poem. And Steven scats so sometimes he’s not actually saying words he’s just making sounds, and he definitely does that in this song. He’s also the one playing the harmonica in their songs.

It’s a well known anthem for people in recovery. He even has been known to play at rehab centers. I tried my best to meet him after a concert once. I didn’t, but I met his limo driver, who promised to give Steven my 3 year chip because this song got me through MANY a hard time. The driver texted me later and said that Steven got it and was very touched. I don’t even care if it was a lie. In my heart, I got to thank Steven Tyler personally for this song and for saving me from relapsing God knows how many times.

Those avatar effects were science fiction back then - it took 15 years for computers to be able to do that in real time - even now I consider it a waste of resources - but still I'll spend an hour coming up with the perfect face and hair to fit the story in the genre I'm playing - only to spend 99% of the time staring at their butt or shoulders. Even worse - the hair, remember the hair, the parting the colouring the glasses looped around the ears with the meticulously designed lobes - I can't see any of that because best armour is composite armour helmet that covers hair, ears and has a visor attached.

For hardcore. A- Smith fans this, though high charting (early 90's) is when they went downhill into glossy pop cheese Power Ballad's. They have many ballads from 70's and 80's, way way more greasy, haunting and soulful. Here's is a complete list. 1) "Seasons of Wither" (74) 2) "You See me Crying" {75} 3) " Home Tomight" (76) 4) "Mia" (79) 5)" Joanie's Butterfly" (82) 6) " Darkness" (85) 7) " Angel" (87) 8) "What it Takes" (89) 9) "Dueces Are Wild" (Pump outake) BTW their best post 70's -80's album is hands down " Just Push Play" circa 01 (with the unnesscary addition of cheese ball ballad " Fly Away Home") Fantastic ballads on album " Avant Garden" 🔥 & "Jaded" (sort of Ballad).
