Lisa Herrera, MD, MPH is a geriatric psychiatry fellow at the University of New Mexico (UNM) and Raymond G Murphy Veteran Hospital located in Albuquerque, NM. She has received her MPH with a focus on epidemiology as well as her MD and residency training at UNM. She is a multi-generational native New Mexican who lives with her husband and dog. She is motivated to help individuals and families embrace mental health care that is multi-disciplinary and incorporates their cultural and spiritual values.
Learning Objectives:
1. Define and describe specific behaviors to better characterize agitation.
2. Create a differential to evaluate etiology of behaviors.
3. Formulate a treatment plan specific to patient and behaviors.
