Kicks or leg attacks are a less common aggression than punches or blows directed at the head or body, but their training and defense should not be neglected for this reason.
For this reason, every Aikidoka should at least know how to react before the 3 basic kicks shown in this video: front kick, side kick and roundhouse kick.
Thanks to the methodology used in this video, you can learn in a basic way both the body movement ('TAI-SABAKI') used to avoid the attack as well as the CUT or DEFLEX performed with the arms to absorb the kick. 👌
The recording of this video therefore constitutes a detailed study and a practical guide for many practitioners of Aikido and other Martial Arts who do not usually address defense against attacks of this nature in their daily practice.
