I do it after every game. I use bio bbs and mostly play in desert like areas so my mags get pretty dirty. But I would still recommend cleaning your mags after every game. Its good to get in the habit of doing this so you can get the most out of your mags, every game.

+Blitz BNR-34 could just be the track is dirty or has a burr or something. Have you dropped it or hit it hard enough to bend the metal? If you take that plastic follower out and put it in a different magazine does it do the same thing? If so, it's the follower, if not it has to do with the magazine body most likely. Is the spring damaged or binding anywhere?
@XinfinitywardxXx

Douglas Thompson thanks for the reply. I found the problem, it's the tracks. I'm the 3rd owner of the mags and I'm pretty sure the 1st owner probably drop or hit the mags for it to bend the tracks. Currently filling the sides a little so that it could run smooth.

i have a question for you. i just bought a used mp7 that the guy didnt really take care of. ive already cleaned the mags and the gun from you other but im still having issues. switching the safety gets more and more difficult to switch each time i switch it. i dont know why. second, the bolt and the bolt catch after cocking the gun a few times just stops working. again i dont know why. if you see this please help me. it would mean alot as i really enjoy the gun but it isnt perfect...yet. Thanks

Timothy Crowder with the safety it just sounds like its worn down to the point that its beginning to fail. the parts are not steel from factory. very soft metal, the second problem with the bolt carrier failing to lock back is a similar situation... I dont recall if the mp7 is able to wotk semi auto only without the selector but its worth a try to completely remove it. as for the bolt catch id say get used to counting your shots in semi auto only. sorry i cant be of more help but its been a ehile since I have owned one.

Great video, what is the chest rig you have in the video?
@DouglasThompson
8 жыл бұрын
It was a special run of custom devgru chest rigs, I was told only around 70 of them were made so I'm not sure they are still around, when I bought this one it said "last one". Sorry I couldn't be of more help. If it helps you can get chest rigs intended for other pistol calibers with extended style mag pouches and stuff plastic bags down them so the mp5 mags won't sink down to far to be able to grab them. If you need an example I can make a quick video for you.

I'm new to this magazine and I dont know how to even load it it does have a loading slot like most pistols do, any one can help me?
@DouglasThompson
4 жыл бұрын
Is it the same model as the one I showed in the vid? If so, the inside center you will see a long slot with a spring inside. At the top you will find a "follower" slide that down and insert bb's either by hand or a speed loader while the spring is still held down. They will double stack relatively evenly but occasionally the stack will mess up so you can give it a bit of a shake to re-orient the stack. On the end of the follower you will see the one side is a bit higher than the other. You will stack the first bb on the lower half and continue stacking from there. Hope this helps! :)
@DouglasThompson

Also in case I wasnt clear, some feed lips (the very top opening) can be loaded from the top. If not, you can feed them directly through the slot they exit when the replica is firing.

If you look inside your magwell are there any noticeable scratches or plastic that looks like its been scraped? Also on the mag, you should be able to see marks on the paint. Are the mags from the same manufacturer, same years? When you say "stuck" do you mean it wont drop free or its physically stuck and you have to get a tool or pull really hard to where it would interfere with gameplay significantly?
@eckpyrosis7232

@@DouglasThompson The scratch marks looks the same on both but i do notice the cutouts where the mag catch catche's is a bit high.. im not sure if thas the cause manufacturer same years ( i got the one with no release button ) I had to pull, its quite hard just to get it in and out the other one is easy to put in but wont drop freely Also is it normal for the mag release to Click hard before it even went down ?

Would this be the same procedure for Tokyo Marui mp7 magazines?

I have a question I have the mp7 navy and don't have the little hole where you first pressed down only where you put the gas and a little rubber thing on the bottom side of my mag do you know how to disassemble that
@DouglasThompson
9 жыл бұрын
I'd say it would just be compression fit on if that's the case. The only other thing I can think of is try lifting the spring (being careful not to damage the spring or the back of the bb storage area) with some pliers from bottom to top. Maybe the spring is pushing down on something holding the baseplate in place. Is the baseplate loose fitting or very tight? If you have any trouble understanding what I was trying to get across I could possibly make a video trying to replicate what I'm saying. Hope we can figure this out.
